Carleton W. Lockwood, Jr. is a Registered Civil Engineer and Licensed Land Surveyor with over 24 years experience as a project engineer, civil designer, and surveyor. Prior to joining Lockwood Engineering, he served as Project Engineer for two large engineering firms in San Diego where he was a design team leader for land development projects in and around the San Diego area.
Since joining Lockwood Engineering, he has operated as Principal Engineer for the majority of projects designed by the firm. Types of projects designed under his direction include residential subdivisions, commercial site development, industrial site development, public right-of-way surface and underground improvements, and all land surveying.
His surveying experience combined with his design abilities
provide common sense
solutions to potentially complex problems. His enthusiastic
communication skills
encourage a team approach among clients, agency representatives,

Engineering Staff.
Senior Civil Designer - David W. Hulse
David W. Hulse has over 17 years experience as Civil Designer and Surveyor. Prior to joining Lockwood Engineering, he worked for firms in the Upland and the High Desert. His experience in Computer Aided Drafting and Design has helped bring Lockwood Engineering to the forefront of the latest technology. He is proficient in AutoCAD 2004, Land Desktop, and Total Station computer programs. His knowledge of all phases of land surveying enhances Lockwood Engineering's reputation of being extremely efficient and accurate.
